Hi Pierre, I was informed by the Fleetcaptain about violations in the Flybase. I know it is hard to face consequenses like a suspension without even beeing asked. This is tough, I agree with you, but you may understand, that our Fleetcaptain has no other chance to react like that. You cannot imagine, we have violations daily which we have to cope about and after years of operation and repeatedly asking the pilots to stick to the rules, still some guys doing what they want. In your specific case nobody of the management had the impression that you have any motivation to fly Stevens assignments or even fly for Stevens. You can imagine, having a STV flightnumber but Corsair aircraft and routes has not much to do with Stevens. Also flying same legs Nice-Brest about 7 times without even a return flight is confusing for us. Encountering overweight landings about 11 times and stating, that it was to see the effect of fuel tankering and heavy pax loads, is kind of disgusting. You are not employed as a test pilot with Stevens. If you like to test, I am sure you know that these test flights are not flights to be locked. Can you imagine that we have a reputation with Stevens? We try to be realistic as much as possible and people who are interested in our VA see overweight landings all over the place, not once, 11 times with a ZFW which is not even existing for a 744! I am sure you can imagine that this has nothing to do with realism and is annoying for us and any Stevens pilots or anybody who things about joining our VA. So you might understand, that there's not much room for discussion. Imagine how impossible it is to remind pilots of any violation immediately, to "discuss" any violation with the pilot. That's is impossible. We don't argue about a violation here and then, everybody is violating unintentionally, me too! But consistantly continuing to violate is a different ballgame, and I not agree with your complaint about not discussing before terminating a membership. You are a long year member of Stevens and I think you are professional enough to know the rules. If you violate VATSIM or IVAO rules you are suspended as well without even being asked. Unfortunately your comments about the violations where not very reasonable, so I get the impression that you acted correctly which is not acceptable for me. The Flightline is down, I know, but still you are able to fly Stevens aircraft even when you are not able to check them out. The Flybase is not down and you logged your flights in the Flybase, so I don't know what that means. Blocktime over 2 hours from Nice to Brest is hard to believe for me. I did that route several times in real life and even with an A319 I couldn't manage to get over 2 hours blocktime. You know me for years now and I am sure you know that I am not a guy who loves to kick veterans like you out of the business in a mood. If you tell me, that these violations were done unintentionally and you are interested in seriously flying for Stevens as it is intended, we of course can talk about it and quit your suspension.
